Shipping
What days do you ship orders?
Orders ship Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders received on weekends or holidays, will ship the next business day - excluding pre-ordered items.
What are pre-orders?
Pre-order products are signified on the product's page with "Pre-Order" instead of "Add to Cart".
Our embroidery products are custom-made and are very time-intensive to create in order to ensure the finest product. Only a few items of each product are kept on hand. In the event that a product is sold out, we do accept pre-orders. It may take up to 2-4 weeks to fulfill your order, depending on availability of raw materials and the number of orders received.
What shipping methods do you use?
The majority of orders ship via USPS. Other forms of shipping are possible depending on the situation. Please be advised that once an item ships, it is under the control of the carrier. All items ship with a tracking number and require signature confirmation to ensure safe arrival of your order.
Returns and Refunds
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30 day return policy for all products. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
What condition do you accept return products?
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

How long does it take to get a refund?
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5 days.
I haven't received my refund? What do I do?
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Can I exchange an item?

I need to return or exchange an item. Who pays for the shipping?
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning or exchanging your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

How long have you been in business?
Embroidery Outpost set up shop in 2017. We initially only provided unique embroidery wall art. However, over time we have expanded to provide our customers with vintage, out-of-print, and hard-to-find cross stitch and embroidery kits, as well as charts and patterns. We carry hundreds of products, including many of the major manufacturers including Dimensions, Janlynn, and Lavender and Lace. Our products are perfect for Christmas or wedding gifts, as well as many other special occasions.
We are constantly on the lookout for new products, so check back often!

How do I hang embroidery wall art?
Hanging your embroidery wall art is simple. We've done all the hard work for you! Framed items include a wire on the back. To hang either hooped or framed pieces, you simply need to put a small nail or a picture hook on your wall and hang your item. It's that easy!
Can embroidery wall art be personalized?
Unfortunately, at this time our embroidery wall art can not be personalized.
However, we do have a wide selection of personalized cross stitch kits, personalized embroidery kits, and personalized cross stitch patterns for any occasion, such as wedding cross stitch and birth announcements.
How do I care for my hoop-framed embroidery wall art?
Wh the proper care, your new embroidery wall art can last a lifetime!
- Always keep out of direct sunlight! The sun’s rays can fade the embroidery thread, fabric, and lace over time.
- If your item becomes soiled, blot it with a damp cloth moistened with water.
- Do not use any type of cleaning solvent as this may damage the fabric and thread.

How do I care for my framed embroidery wall art?
With proper care, your framed embroidery wall art will last a lifetime!
Always keep out of direct sunlight! The sun’s rays can fade the embroidery thread and fabric over time.
To clean the acrylic glass, use a clean, soft, lint-free cloth. A micro-fiber cloth is recommended.
Do not use dry or gritty cloths as they may cause surface scratches and create a static electric charge on the surface.
Spray a small amount of ammonia-free cleaner onto the cloth.
Do not use acrylic cleaning sprays, kitchen scouring compounds or solvents such as acetone, gasoline, or lacquer to clean acrylic.
Press the cloth against the acrylic and clean in round, circular motions.

Needlework Kits
Why are there stickers on the packaging?
This is a common question. We carry new, old stock. We specifically look for vintage, hard-to-find, or out-of-print cross stitch, embroidery, and needlepoint kits for our customers. Products can be from the 70s, 80s, or 90s, so they have been around for a while. As such, these products have at one time been part of another store's inventory, so they may have pricing stickers on the exterior packaging. These stickers in no way mar the product contents.
Rest assured that the staff at Embroidery Outpost meticulously inspect each item before offering it to our customers. Any products that contain stains on the fabric, have been opened, or have any type of damage are discarded.

I lost part of a kit I previously purchased. Do you sell the materials?
At this time we only sell complete kits. If you are missing fabric, thread, etc. from a kit you previously purchased, our only recommendations are to repurchase the kit or to purchase your missing materials from another source, such as Hobby Lobby. We cannot open a kit from our inventory to replace materials from your kit.
